Social Factor is looking for an experienced remote Finance Manager to join the team! The Finance Manager will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and providing insights to guide budgeting and forecasting. This role combines day-to-day accounting with forward-looking financial analysis, making it an excellent fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:

Accounting & Reporting
- Manage daily bookkeeping and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bill payments
Payroll & Compliance
- Support biweekly payroll and benefits contributions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Support year-end audit and tax preparation
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Monitor variances and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Support business modeling and scenario analysis for new initiatives
Client & Project Support
- Develop and maintain client cost estimators and profitability models
- Partner with client teams to ensure accurate project financials and margin tracking
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports for client pitches, renewals, and strategic planning
Financial Operations
- Maintain relationships with banking partners
- Support cash flow management and reporting
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Establish scalable best practices for growth
- Ability to come in for occasional in person meetings in DFW or Austin area but primarily work from home

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4 years+ of accounting experience (agency or professional services experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), Excel/Google Sheets; experience with expense management and payroll systems a plus
Experience with Sage
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Work with a social media agency, social platform, ad agency or similar industry a plus
